Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP)

On January 28, 2002, the UK Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) was created for highly skilled individuals wishing to remain or to come to the United Kingdom to work as employed or self-employed persons. On November 7, 2006 the points requirement for HSMP went up to seventy-five points and a number of other significant changes were made.

You do not need a prior job offer and are free to take up self employment opportunities once you gain approval under the HSMP. Submit your details here to have your HSMP points score calculated for entry to the UK. You will need 75 points in total for a successful application.

Please note that this calculator is for your own benefit and entirely confidential. We will not receive a copy of your results. If you would also like us to assess your qualifications, please complete the online assessment form and tell us how many points you score.

This calculator will enable you to assess your probability of receiving an HSMP visa whilst advising you of the documentation you will need to provide with your application.
