The Team

Mona Anahita Chawla is a practising lawyer and has more than twenty years experience in obtaining employment, family, and investor-based visas for professionals, companies, and businesspersons wishing to relocate to the U.S. and the U.K.

Mona Anahita is admitted to practice law in New York and England & Wales.  She has advised corporate clients and individuals on the immigration consequences of relocation and investments abroad. She has also been published in the New York Law Journal, the Economic Times of India, and various trade magazines on immigration matters.

Laine Alida Armstrong is a practising lawyer with varied experience in obtaining family visas and business visas for professionals and large companies wishing to relocate to the U.S.

Laine Alida is admitted to practice law in New York.  She has experience in assisting individuals, non-profits and businesses for their immigration needs within the U.S.  She has been published in expat journals, highlighting the various visa options for those wishing to move to the U.S. She is proficient in Spanish.

Michael Aspell is a seasoned lawyer with experience in business and family immigration, representing clients moving on the basis of family ties, investment, and employment.

Michael has a Bachelor of Laws from University of Auckland.  He has qualified as a barrister in New Zealand.  He has had a fifteen year career in immigration law, mostly in London, combined with extensive experience in providing relocation training aimed at smoothing the assignee’s adaptation in the host country.

Karen Shaeffer is a Client Services Representative who deals with all initial client enquiries and assists with managing the application process.

Karen has several years of experience, particularly in the area of immigration law.

Mona is admitted to practice law both in New York and the United Kingdom. She is proficient in French and fluent in Hindi. Mona has advised corporate clients and individuals on the immigration consequences of relocation and investments abroad. She has also been published in the New York Law Journal, the Economic Times of India, and various trade magazines on immigration matters.

Elizabeth Sheridan is a practising lawyer with varied experience in obtaining family visas and business visas for professionals and large companies wishing to relocate to the U.S.

Elizabeth is admitted to practice law in New York and has an abundance of experience with multinationals on handling their immigration needs within the U.S. and across the globe. She has been published in various newspapers and magazines highlighting the various options individuals and companies have when doing business in the U.S. She is proficient in German.

Jeffrey King is a practising lawyer with experience in business immigration, representing clients moving to the UK on the basis of investment, work, and business

He has a Bachelor of Laws from London Metropolitan University and a Master of Laws from BPP Law School. He has been practising immigration law in the UK since 2004.  Mr. King is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales.  He has lived in three countries, and is fluent in Spanish.

Karen Shaeffer is a Client Services Representative who deals with all initial client enquiries and assists with managing the application process.

Karen has several years of experience, particularly in the area of immigration law.
